About Orange Grill

If you’re exploring Brooklyn and want a spot that feels polished without being stiff, let me introduce you to Orange Grill Restaurant, better known locally as Orange Grill. Tucked away at 2547 Cropsey Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11214, this fine dining restaurant blends modern comfort with a refined edge, making it a place people return to for both casual nights out and special occasions. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a balance between upscale and welcoming, which instantly puts you at ease.

What really stands out about Orange Grill is how thoughtfully the experience is put together. The menu leans into comfort food while still keeping things fresh and elevated, so you’ll notice healthy options, organic dishes, and beautifully prepared small plates sharing space with richer favorites. Vegan and vegetarian options are clearly more than an afterthought here, which makes it easy for mixed groups to find something they genuinely enjoy. Late-night food is also available, adding to the restaurant’s appeal for evening diners who want quality beyond the usual quick bites.

Drinks are another strong point. Orange Grill offers a well-rounded selection that includes wine, spirits, beer, and crafted cocktails, alongside coffee for those easing into the evening or winding it down. Happy-hour food and happy-hour drinks bring an extra layer of energy to the space, especially for guests looking to relax without committing to a full dinner. Initially a wonderful experience. Welcoming atmosphere, beautiful decorations and upscale style with great presentation of each dish! The food was prepared quite well and tasted great! I-pads instead of paper menus is a nice modern touch. Seems like an expanded menu will draw in more customers and the hours are a bit out of the ordinary for NY. Nevertheless it works fine. The not so great parts are minimal but cost my loyalty to this establishment. The waiter was openly gawking at my finace most of the time, never looking me in the eye. At time of ordering he was only looking at my fiance and mostly ignoring me as I was placing the order. Seemed quite strange and made both of us feel uncomfortable. We let it go without bringing it up as we didn't think much of it. After drinks arrived one of the drinks had shattered glass inside. We found out after nearly swallowing the piece of glass cutting the inside of the mouth. I promptly brought it up to the staff. They didn't seem to care at all and didn't bother to ask if all was well... To my shock, a replacement drink wasnt offered. We were expected to finish the drink with glass shards in it. I asked for the bill but the drink wasnt removed from the bill... We payed and left. Im a bit appalled at the situation. Its a great place but there is no accountability for the kitchens/bars mistake. Will consider giving a 5 star review if the situation is rectified. Otherwise 4 stars is extremely generous considering the situation.

The portion is small, a little over price. The rice that come with the steak and lamb too salty. Decorating of plate is nice.my kids said the lava cake too dry, they expecting like egg yolk watery.

Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
